Baaghi 4 Box Office Collection Day 3: Tiger Shroff action thriller collects Rs 31.25 Cr in opening weekend

Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 4 received moderate response

Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt and Harnaaz Sandhu starrer action thriller Baaghi 4 hit the theatres on September 5 with high expectations. However, the film has received a moderate response at the box office.

According to the early estimation by a trade website, Baaghi 4 collected around Rs 10 net in India on its third day, which also marked its first Sunday. The film’s total now stands at Rs 31.25 crore net in India. The action thriller registered an overall 27.08% Hindi occupancy with 8.75% morning, 28.81% afternoon, 36.95% evening and 33.82% night shows.

The film opened in the theatres with Rs 12 crore net in India. Baaghi 4 witnessed a decline in the numbers on its second day of release and earned Rs 9.25 crore net in India.

Baaghi 4 faced a strong competition with The Conjuring: Last Rites as it earned Rs 17.5 crore net in India on its first and second day of release. The final instalment in the horror franchise collected Rs 15.50 net in India, taking its total to Rs 50.50 crore net in India.

Expectations were high for the fourth movie in the Baaghi series based on its initial instalments’ box office performances. The movie showed a downward spiral on its second day of release, suggesting that the reception to the film had been lukewarm.

Sajid Nadiadwala has penned the script and the screenplay of the film. Baaghi 4 also stars Sanjay Dutt and Harnaaz Sandhu in the pivotal roles. The film also stars Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, and Sonam Bajwa in key roles.

The fourth instalment in the action thriller franchise, which kicked off in 2016, is produced by Sajid Nadiawala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Directed by A. Harsha and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Baaghi 4 revolves around a man who survives a suicide attempt, but his reality blurs. His loved ones question him as a hidden truth draws him into a web of obsession and enduring love.
