Ayushmann Khurrana visits the new parliament building, praises its architectural structure

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana recently visited the Parliament House building in Delhi.

Ayushmann Khurrana, an acclaimed Bollywood actor, recently visited the newly inaugurated Parliament building in Delhi, a significant part of India’s 75th Independence anniversary celebrations. The building, designed by Indian architect Bimal Patel, is hailed as an architectural gem reflecting India's cultural heritage and pride.

The actor, who is also working with the Election Commission of India, to boost voting awareness among the youth, shared his experience on Instagram. He posted a series of photos and videos with the caption, "Honoured to visit the new Parliament building. Feeling proud witnessing this incredible architectural marvel that represents our shining democracy, our heritage & culture in all its glory. Jai Hind."

During his visit, Ayushmann was dressed in traditional attire, wearing a maroon bandgala and white pants, and was seen admiring the artwork within the building.Ayushmann’s involvement with the Election Commission highlights his commitment to encouraging voter participation, especially among young people.

He has been vocal about the importance of voting in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. "Everyone must vote and be conscious citizens by participating in the process of nation-building," Ayushmann said. He expressed his pride in urging young people to vote in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, stressing that India, with its vast youth population, needs their active participation in its democracy.

The 2024 General Elections for the Lok Sabha will be conducted in seven phases starting on April 19, with the vote counting set for June 4. On the film front, Ayushmann recently starred in the comedy 'Dream Girl 2', alongside Ananya Panday, Annu Kapoor, and Abhishek Banerjee. The film was well-received. Looking ahead, Ayushmann is excited about his upcoming projects in 2024, promising a diverse range of genres in his next films.
