Eddington cast members Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone, Pedro Pascal, Austin Butler and filmmaker Ari Aster attended the screening of their film at the Cannes Film Festival. Angelina Jolie also joined the red carpet.

The 78th Cannes Film Festival witnessed a series of A-list Hollywood celebrities gracing the red carpet on the fourth day. Celebrities, including Angelina Jolie, Emma Stone, Joaquin Phoenix, and Pedro Pascal, made a stylish appearance at the annual film festival for the premiere of Eddington.

Angelina Jolie looked stunning in a shimmery strapless gown from Brunello Cucinelli, adorned with delicate embellishments. She elevated her look with a diamond necklace and matching earrings. She styled her blonde hair down in a soft side part. The actress looked ethereal as she gracefully walked the red carpet and clicked pictures with her fans.



Emma Stone also looked stunning in a white, elegant gown with a dramatic neckline. Pedro Pascal looked dapper in a black tuxedo. He stars as the leading man in the film. Austin Butler also walked the red carpet in a black tuxedo.

Meanwhile, Joaquin Phoenix equally looked dashing in a tux and stylish haircut. The actor posed with director Ari Aster on the red carpet.

The cast of the film posed for the photographers for a group picture on the stairs just before walking into the theatre for the screening.

For the unversed, Eddington features Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone, Pedro Pascal, and Austin Butler in the pivotal roles.

Directed by Ari Aster, known for the 2018 film Hereditary, is set during the COVID-19 pandemic, and revolves around a small-town sheriff and mayor who sparks a powder keg as neighbour is pitted against neighbours in Eddington, New Mexico. The film officially hit the theatres on July 18.
