Bollywood star Alia Bhatt is lighting up social media with stunning new photos from the picturesque sets of her upcoming film Alpha, currently being shot in Kashmir.
The actress recently shared a series of beautiful snapshots on her social media account, simply captioning them “कश्मीर, #alpha”
Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha marks the seventh installment in Yash Raj Films' expansive spy universe, which kicked off with the beloved Tiger franchise featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
Alia co-stars in this action-packed film alongside Sharvari Wagh, and both actresses have been enjoying the breathtaking scenery of Kashmir while filming. Following the release of the film’s new shooting schedule, Alia returned to the stunning locales for more shooting.
On October 18, 2024, the hotel hosting Alia in Kashmir shared beautiful images of her on its official Instagram account. In the photos, she donned a cozy white cardigan paired with navy blue pants, accessorizing with a white muffler and carrying a handbag.
Alia embraced a natural, no-makeup look and styled her hair in a bun, radiating effortless charm. One photo also captured a moment where she received an antique gift from someone present on set.
Alpha is being produced by Aditya Chopra, who has been instrumental in creating YRF's spy universe, which includes blockbusters like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and the upcoming Tiger 3. Future projects in the spy universe include War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr., and sequels to Pathaan and Tiger.

Meanwhile, Alia’s film Jigra has recently faced controversy, as actress-director Divya Khossla criticized her on social media, alleging that Alia bought her own tickets for the film amid reports of poor box office turnout.
Divya shared a photo of an empty theater screening Jigra, highlighting the challenges the film is facing at the box office.
The release date for the film Alpha is December 25, 2025.
