Ali Fazal, fresh off his acclaimed performance as Guddu Pandit in Mirzapur Season 3, has landed a lead role opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the upcoming fantasy drama Rakt Bramhand, according to reports.
Directed by Rahi Anil Barve, popularly known for Tumbbad and produced by the visionary duo Raj & DK, Rakt Bramhand is expected to be a groundbreaking project in the genre.
As per Pinkvilla reports, the shooting for the highly anticipated fantasy drama is set to commence next week in Mumbai. The series, helmed by Raj & DK and directed by Rahi Anil Barve, boasts a star-studded cast featuring Ali Fazal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Wamiqa Gabbi in pivotal roles.
With filming scheduled throughout August, Ali Fazal will balance his commitments to "Rakt Bramhand" with other ongoing projects.
Beyond his role in the fantasy drama "Rakt Bramhand," Ali Fazal has an impressive lineup of projects. He is set to appear in Mani Ratnam's historical action film, "Thug Life," alongside a stellar cast including Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, and Nassar. Additionally, Ali will be seen in Anurag Basu's upcoming directorial venture, "Metro... In Dino'."
