Jharkhand Exit Poll 2024 Updates: NDA expected to win 9-12 seats in Jharkhand, predicts News18 Mega Exit Poll

In terms of vote share, NDA is likely to get 55% vote share.

BJP led NDA is expected to lead the way in Jharkhand with 9 to 12 seats while INDIA bloc might likely win 2-5 seats, according to News18 Mega Exit Poll.

Jharkhand voted for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in four phases to elect 14 members representing the state. In the 2019 elections, the BJP emerged as the dominant force, securing 11 seats, while the All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) Party, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), and the Indian National Congress (INC) won one seat each.

In the 2014 elections as well, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) demonstrated its strength by winning 12 out of the 14 seats in Jharkhand. The remaining two seats were claimed by the JMM.

The 2019 elections witnessed a voter turnout of 69.1 per cent in Jharkhand. The BJP's vote share stood at an impressive 51.6 per cent, followed by the Congress at 15.8 per cent and the JMM at 11.7 per cent.

A News18 poll survey predicted that the BJP-led NDA is likely to maintain its dominance, potentially winning 12 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand. The opposition INDIA bloc, on the other hand, is expected to secure two seats.
