WBJEE Result 2025 OUT: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the WBJEE Result 2025 today at the official website, wbjee.in. This comes after the Supreme Court stayed a Calcutta High Court order directing the Board to cancel its merit list and prepare a new one.

On Friday, 22 August, the Supreme Court stayed the Calcutta High Court’s earlier directive which had asked WBJEEB to release a fresh merit list by 22 August. The High Court had found the earlier merit list “erroneous and unsustainable” and ordered the inclusion of 7% reservation for 66 OBC classes recognised by the West Bengal Backward Classes Department before 2010.

The Board has now released the result without cancelling its existing merit list. This has cleared the way for the long delayed results, much to the relief of students awaiting their scores.

Category Submission Facility Closed on 21 August

Earlier, WBJEEB had opened an online window for candidates to submit their SC, ST, and OBC category details along with relevant certificates. The last date for submission was 21 August 2025 (11:59 PM). These details were collected to prepare the WBJEE 2025 result.

Steps to Download WBJEE Result 2025

The candidates can check their results online by following these steps:

1. Visit the official website wbjee.in or wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee.
2. Click on the WBJEE Result 2025 link available on the homepage.
3. Enter your application number, password, and security pin.
4. The WBJEE 2025 scorecard will appear on the screen.
5. Download and save the result for future reference.

Candidates will be able to participate in the WBJEE counselling process for admissions to engineering and other professional courses across West Bengal.
