The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the results of the Combined State Engineering Services (General/Special Recruitment) Preliminary Examination 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check and download their result from the official website uppsc.up.nic.in.
The preliminary examination was held on 20 April 2025. Out of 78,798 registered candidates, 31,639 appeared for the exam. Among them, 7,358 candidates have qualified for the main examination stage.

This recruitment drive aims to fill 609 vacancies in various departments of the Uttar Pradesh government through the Combined State Engineering Services Examination.
What’s Next?
Candidates who have cleared the prelims will now move on to the second stage the main written examination. This exam will test the candidates’ subject-specific knowledge and analytical skills in greater detail.
After the main exam, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The interview will assess the candidate's personality, communication skills and ability to handle real-world problems. Only those who clear all three stages prelims, mains and interview will be selected for final appointment.
Marks and Cut-Offs
The marks obtained by the candidates in the prelims and the category-wise cutoff marks will be published on the official website after the main examination is completed. UPPSC has also stated that the selection result will remain subject to the final decision in Special Appeal No. 475 (D)/2019 filed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the High Court.
