The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu has declared the TN Class 12 Result 2025 today, 8 May. Students who appeared for the Class 12 board exams can now check their results online at the official websites: dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in.

The Tamil Nadu 12th board exams were conducted from 3 March to 25 March 2025 at various exam centres across the state. This year, approximately 8.2 lakh students appeared for the examinations.

How to Check TN 12th Result 2025

Students can follow these steps to access their results online:

1. Visit the official website: dge.tn.gov.in
2. Click on the link for “TN 12th Result 2025”
3. Enter your roll number and date of birth
4. View your result on the screen
5. Download it and take a printout for future reference

It is important for students to check all details carefully, such as name, roll number, subject-wise marks, and total marks. In case of any errors, students should get in touch with the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) for corrections.

Minimum Passing Marks

To pass the Class 12 exams in Tamil Nadu, students must score a minimum of 35 percent in each subject. In subjects that include internal assessments or practical exams, students need to pass all components to be declared qualified.
