SBI CBO admit card 2025 released

The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released the admit card for the recruitment of Circle Based Officers (CBO) under Advertisement No. CRPD/CBO/2025-26/03. Candidates who have successfully registered for the SBI CBO 2025 exam can now download their admit cards from the bank’s official website — bank.sbi.

The online written examination is scheduled for July 20, 2025, and will be conducted in two parts: objective and descriptive tests. Candidates must carry a printed copy of their admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre. Entry will not be allowed without these documents.

SBI CBO Exam Structure and Selection Process

The selection process for SBI CBO 2025 includes the following stages:

• Online Written Exam (Objective + Descriptive)
• Screening of Experience and Documents
• Interview (50 marks)
• Local Language Test (if applicable)

The final merit list will be prepared based on a 75:25 weightage of the online test and interview scores.

• Objective Test (120 Marks, Duration: 2 hours):
• English Language – 30 Questions (30 minutes)
• Banking Knowledge – 40 Questions (40 minutes)
• General Awareness/Economy – 30 Questions (30 minutes)
• Computer Aptitude – 20 Questions (20 minutes)
• Descriptive Test (50 Marks, 30 minutes):
• Letter Writing and Essay (in English)

Importantly, there will be no negative marking in any section of the exam.

• Click on the “Careers” section and then navigate to “Current Openings”
• Locate “RECRUITMENT OF CIRCLE BASED OFFICERS 2025”
• Click on the Admit Card link
• Enter your Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth
• Download and print the admit card
• Candidates are advised to verify all details on the admit card, including name, photograph, exam centre, and ID details. Any discrepancies should be reported immediately to the SBI helpdesk. Visiting the exam centre a day before the test is also recommended to avoid any last-minute hassle.

SBI CBO 2025: Vacancy Details

This year, SBI is recruiting for 2,964 Circle Based Officer positions, which include 2,600 regular vacancies and 364 backlog vacancies. These positions are distributed across various SBI circles nationwide. Notably, selected candidates will be posted within their chosen circle, with no provision for inter-circle transfer.

• ST: 190 (Regular) + 146 (Backlog)
• OBC: 697 (Regular) + 111 (Backlog)

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates were required to meet the following eligibility conditions as of April 30, 2025:
• Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university
• Work Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (RRB)
• Age Limit: Between 21 and 30 years (age relaxations applicable for SC/ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates as per government norms)
