REET 2024 Registration Starts December 1; Exam to be Held in February 2025

The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2024 registration process is set to begin on December 1, according to an announcement made by the Education Minister, Madan Dilawar, on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). A notification will be released on November 25, providing candidates with all essential information. The REET 2024 exam is scheduled to take place in February 2025 and will cover both Levels 1 and 2, offering opportunities for individuals aiming to become teachers for classes 1-5 and 6-8 in Rajasthan.

How to Register for REET 2024
Once the application process opens, candidates can access the online registration link on the official REET website: rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. Applicants will need to complete the online registration, pay the required fee, upload necessary documents, and submit their application form. The deadline for the REET 2024 application and the complete schedule will be shared in the upcoming notification.

How to Apply for REET 2024

  1. Visit the official website: rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
  2. On the homepage, click on the “apply online” link for REET 2024.
  3. Select the “new registration” option and fill in the required details.
  4. Use the registration ID and password to log in.
  5. Complete the REET application form, upload scanned images, and pay the registration fee.
  6. Submit the application form and print a copy for future reference.

Exam Pattern and Structure

The REET 2024 exam will consist of two levels, each designed to assess candidates based on the age group they wish to teach:

  • Level 1 (Classes 1-5): This exam is for candidates aiming to teach primary school students. Subjects covered include Language I & II, Child Development and Pedagogy, Environmental Studies, and Mathematics, and are set to a Class 10 level of difficulty. The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Level 2 (Classes 6-8): For those who wish to teach upper primary classes, the Level 2 exam includes 150 multiple-choice questions, totalling 300 marks. Candidates will receive 2 marks for each correct answer, and 1/3 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers. The subjects and content will be relevant to the teaching of middle school students.
