NEET SS Exam Dates Postponed

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially postponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2025. The revised examination dates have been announced on the official website, natboard.edu.in.

According to the latest notice from NBEMS, the NEET SS 2025 examination, which was tentatively scheduled for November 7 and 8, 2025, will now be conducted on December 26 and 27, 2025. This shift provides aspirants with nearly two additional months of preparation time.

The official notice stated, "NEET-SS 2025 which was tentatively scheduled to be held on 7th and 8th November 2025, shall now be conducted on 26th and 27th December 2025. This has approval from NMC and MoHFW."

Exam Pattern and Key Details

Aspiring candidates should note the following key details about the NEET SS 2025 computer-based test:

• Mode of Exam: Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Exam Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes)
• Total Questions: The question paper will consist of 150 questions.
• Marking Scheme: There will be a 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. Importantly, no marks will be deducted for questions that are left unattempted.

The NBEMS has confirmed that the detailed information bulletin for NEET SS 2025 will be released on its official website shortly. Once the bulletin is live, eligible candidates can proceed with the online application process by following these steps:

Step 1. Visit the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in.

Step 2. Locate and click on the ‘NEET SS 2025 Registration’ link on the homepage.

Step 3. You will be redirected to a new page to complete your registration by entering the required details.

Step 4. After successful registration, log in to your account using your credentials.

Step 5. Carefully fill out the NEET SS 2025 application form and proceed to pay the application fee online.

Step 6. Click ‘Submit’ and download the confirmation page for your records.

Step 7. Keep a printed hard copy of the confirmation page for all future reference and the admission process.
