JEE Mains Registration Begins: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2026 Session 1. Candidates who wish to apply can now fill out their forms on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The online application process began on October 31, 2025, and will continue till November 27, 2025. The last date for successful fee payment through credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI is also November 27, 2025.
According to the schedule, JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be conducted between January 21 and 30, 2026, while Session 2 will take place from April 1 to 10, 2026. The exam city details will be announced in the first week of January 2026, and the results for Session 1 will be declared on February 12, 2026.
The examination will be conducted in 13 languages, English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. There will be two papers, Paper 1 (for B.E./B.Tech) and Paper 2 (for B.Arch/B.Planning).
Candidates applying now can register only for Session 1 (January 2026) and pay the applicable fee. A separate opportunity will be provided later to register for Session 2 (April 2026) using the same application number. Those who wish to appear only for Session 2 can apply when the second registration window opens.
