The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced a special registration window for students of Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) who wish to appear in the 2026 annual examinations. Students who could not register earlier now have a final chance to complete the process through their respective schools.
According to the board, the registration process can only be completed by school principals on behalf of their students. Individual applications from candidates will not be accepted. The deadline to register with the late fee is 3 September 2025, and schools must ensure that the late fee is paid by 1 September 2025 for the registration to be considered valid.
Registration portals for Class 10 and 12
For Class 10 students, principals must complete the registration at secondary.biharboardonline.com, while for Class 12 students, the process must be carried out at seniorsecondary.biharboardonline.com. The responsibility of filling in all required personal and academic details and completing the payment lies with school principals.
The BSEB has also clarified that any registration submitted without the required late fee will not be accepted. Schools have been advised to complete the process within the timeline to avoid last-minute difficulties.
Helpline numbers for support
The board has set up helplines to assist schools and students in case of difficulties during the registration process.
Students who have already registered can now verify their details through dummy registration cards, which will be issued by the board. These cards will allow students to check the accuracy of their submitted information. If any corrections are needed, they can be made through the official portals until 8 September 2025.
