The company was incorporated on 18th June, 1987 as a Public Limited
 Company under the name of Ruchi Metals Limited and Certificate of
 Commencement of Business was obtained on 19th november, 1987.
 Pursuant to the resolution passed at the extra Ordinary General
 Meeting of the Members of the Company held on 6th October,1989, the
 name of the company was Changed to Ruchi Strips & alloys ltd. and a
 fresh cerftificate of incorporation was obtained from the Registrar
 of Companies, Maharashtra at Bombay on 7th November,1989.
 
 The Company has been promoted by Ruchi Soya Industries Limited
 (RSIL), Madhya Pradesh Audyogite Vikas Nigam Limited (MPAVM) and
 others.
 
 The main object of the company is to carry on the business of
 manufacturing and dealing in ferrous and non-ferrous metals and
 extrading cold-rolling and hot-rolling of ferrous and non-ferrous
 metals.
 
 The company proposes to set up a plant for the manufacture of Cold
 Rolled Steel Coils/Strips with an installed capacity of 50000 TPA.
 The project is being set up in a 'C' category backward area at
 village, Sejwaya ghatabillod, District Dhar in Madhya Pradesh.			
 
 2007
 
 -Ruchi Strips & Alloys Ltd has informed that the securities of the
 Company have been delisted from The Madhya Pradesh Stock Exchange Ltd
 (MPSE) with effect from March 24, 2007.
 
 2008
 
 - Ruchi Strips & Alloys Ltd has appointed Mr. Arvind Mishra as Whole
 time Director of the Company with effect from March 25, 2008.
 
 2012
 
 -Shri. Naresh Sharma has been appointed as Company Secretary as well
 as Compliance Officer of the Company.
 
 2014
 
 -Deepak Upadhyay has been appointed as Company Secretary cum
 Compliance Officer of the Company.
 
 2018
 
 -Company name has changed to IMEC Services Ltd. from Ruchi Strips &
 Alloys Ltd..
