Company History - Godrej Properties
Our Company was originally incorporated as Sea Breeze Constructions
and
Investments Private Limited on February 8, 1985 by Mr. Mohan
Khubchand
Thakur and Mrs. Desiree Mohan Thakur. In the year 1987, we became a
part of the Godrej group and in the year 1989 we became a subsidiary
of
Godrej Industries Limited (erstwhile Godrej Soaps Limited).

We are a real estate development company based in Mumbai, Maharashtra
and have a presence in 10 cities in India. Currently, our business
focuses on
residential, commercial and township developments. We are a fully
integrated
real estate development company undertaking our projects through our
in-house
team of professionals and by partnering with companies with domestic
and
international operations.
We signed up for our first project, Godrej Edenwoods, in Thane,
Mumbai in
May 1991 and have since completed and delivered 23 projects
aggregating
approximately 5.13 million square feet in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore.
We
initially concentrated our real estate business in the Mumbai
Metropolitan
region and later expanded our operations to include other cities such
as Pune,
Bangalore, Kolkata and Hyderabad. Recently, we have diversified into
Ahmedabad,
Mangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai and Kochi. Our current portfolio of
391.04 acres
includes projects in 10 cities across India.
There have been no injunctions or restraining order against the
Company.

- Godrej Properties Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has been
selected as amongst India's top 10 Builders at the Construction World
Architect and Builder Award ceremony held in Mumbai on August 20,
2010.
- Godrej Properties Ltd has informed BSE that the Company is
launching its residential project Godrej Avalon in Mangalore on
August 28, 2010.
- Godrej Group's real estate arm, Godrej Properties Ltd. is likely to
start the redevelopment of its land in South Mumbai by this quarter.

2011
- Godrej Properties Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has
assigned all the rights and obligations of the Company under the
Development Agreement entered with Magic Info Solutions Private
Limited & Others dated August 05, 2011, to its subsidiary Godrej
Premium Builders Private Limited, for developing the project located
at Village Gurgaon, District Gurgaon in Residential Sector 104 of the
Gurgaon-Manesar Urban Complex, Haryana.

dated October 21, 2011 titled Godrej Properties enters into an
agreement for a new residential project in Bengaluru.

- Godrej Properties Limited (GPL), the real estate development arm of
the Godrej Group, has said in its filing to Bombay Stock Exchange
(BSE) that it has entered into a Development Management Agreement
with R.R. Builders to redevelop a MHADA property in Byculla, Mumbai,
through its wholly owned subsidiary Godrej Projects Development
Private Limited (GPDPL).

-The company has entered into a joint venture with Sai Srushti Group
to develop a 100 acres land parcel in North Bengaluru, Godrej
Properties said in a statement.This will be the company &39;s first
plotted development project with about 2.15 million sq ft area.
-The second project in Bengaluru is a joint venture with the
promoters of Lahari Music Group, south India's biggest music
group, to develop 17 acres of land, with the possibility of further
extending the development up to 24 acres.Godrej Properties plans to
develop a housing project of about 1.4 million sq ft with an option
to further increase it to 2 million sq ft.With addition of these two
projects, the company will now have 17 projects in Bengaluru.

- Godrej Projects Development Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of

Vagishwari Land Developers Private Limited (''VLDPL''). Pursuant to

Projects Development Limited and consequently of Godrej Properties
Limited.
