The assault, which took place on January 2, has led to a police investigation, who have recovered CCTV footage of the crime.

The victim, Rajesh Garg, lives in a house where he operates a gym located in the basement. According to police, the violence stemmed from a business dispute between Garg and the gym’s caretaker, identified as Satish Yadav. Garg has alleged that Yadav cheated him in an attempt to seize control of the commercial venture, according to NDTV.

The confrontation began when Garg and his wife went down to the basement to inspect a water leak. While they were checking the pipes, Yadav arrived with a group of several other men. The situation quickly turned violent as the group launched an attack.

Garg said that the men repeatedly punched and kicked him. The attackers even allegedly molested his wife. The situation grew even more tense when Garg’s son arrived to help his parents. The group allegedly grabbed his son, dragged him out onto the public street, and stripped him naked.
