BMW India has updated the iX1 Long Wheelbase with a new exterior colour and additional upholstery choices, enhancing the electric SUV's appeal while the model continues as the brand's highest-selling premium electric vehicle (EV).
For reference, the iX1 Long Wheelbase acts as an entry point to BMW's EV portfolio in India, with its price starting at Rs 49.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The carmaker also sells EVs like the iX SUV, i5 M sedan, i7 sedan and i7 M sedan.

With regard to the BMW iX1 Long Wheelbase, the new Night Dusk Blue metallic shade has been introduced to the palette, joining Carbon Black, Mineral White and Skyscraper Grey.
Inside, BMW has added two new upholstery choices -- Veganza Smoke White + Atlas Grey Dual Tone and Veganza Castanea. Both are made from sustainably sourced vegan leather and feature a 3D stitching pattern. The upholstery theme extends across the interior, wrapping elements such as door panels, the dashboard and speaker mesh in the chosen colour scheme to create a uniform experience.

The iX1 Long Wheelbase measures 4,616mm in length and 2,800mm in wheelbase, making it one of the longest five-seater SUVs on sale in the country. It uses BMW's fifth-generation eDrive technology, with its integrated drive unit delivering 204hp and 250Nm of torque. A 66.4kWh lithium-ion battery, mounted in the floor, provides a claimed driving range of up to 531km (MIDC). The electric SUV also offers adaptive recuperation and one-pedal driving to improve convenience and energy efficiency.
