AI services firm Aivar has raised $4.6 million in a seed funding round led by Sorin Investments, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, as it looks to scale its presence across India, the US, and the Middle East.
Founded in 2024 by former AWS colleagues Kousik Rajendran, Praveen Jayakumar, Ashwin Ram Ravichandra,n and Aadharsh Ayappan, Aivar operates as an AI-first technology services partner focused on helping enterprises move from AI experimentation to production.
The company has over 80 customers across startups and enterprises.
Aivar delivers projects through an end-to-end AI studio model covering strategy consulting, custom AI solution development, and managed AI operations.
The company has built proprietary accelerators, including Convogent AI for multilingual conversational and voice use cases, Velogent AI for agentic process automation in regulated workflows, and Kubogent AI for Kubernetes-based infrastructure to host AI workloads.
These accelerators aim to reduce deployment timelines and improve reliability and cost efficiency compared to traditional IT services models.
Aivar said it is addressing a key execution gap in enterprise AI adoption, where traditional systems integrators often lack specialised AI and ML delivery capabilities.
“We’ve validated that enterprises need more than AI tools. They need partners who can execute transformation end to end,” said Kousik Rajendran, co-founder and CEO of Aivar, adding that the funding would help scale its AI-native services model globally.
Mandar Dandekar, partner at Sorin Investments, said enterprises are under pressure to drive AI-led transformation but struggle with execution, creating an opportunity for firms that can re-architect workflows and own outcomes.
Nithin Kaimal, partner and COO at Bessemer Venture Partners in India, said the rise of generative AI allows AI-native challengers to reimagine the IT services landscape as outcome-based delivery replaces traditional billable-hour models.
