Tigress dies in Banerghatta national park

Bangalore, Jan 20 (PTI) A 15 year-old tigress, suffering from lung ailment, died in the Bannerghatta National Park today, a top official of BNP said. "The tigress Gange, was suffering due to some nodules in the lungs which were causing problems for the past three months", Executiove Director BNP, Raju told PTI. "Post-mortem will reveal whether the nodules were cancerous", he said.
