In a bid to counter Reliance Jio’s revamped Dhan Dhana Dhan tariff plans, Vodafone India has introduced a new plan of Rs 244 with benefits for 70 days.
The new plan will provide a user with 1GB 3G/4G data every day and unlimited calls to any other Vodafone user. However, the plan is valid only for first-time users, which means existing users cannot avail this offer.
Another catch with the offer is the validity of 70 days is available only for the first recharge. From the second recharge, the validity will fall to 35 days for the same amount.
The telecom giant is also providing another plan of Rs 346 with a validity of 56 days.
Under this plan, users can enjoy up to 56GB data with a cap of 1GB per day along with unlimited voice calls to any network. However, voice calls will be limited to 300 minutes per day and 1,200 minutes per week.
Reports also suggest that Vodafone will be offering a cashback of five percent to all the users who recharge for Rs 244 and Rs 346 plan using the My Vodafone app. The company will be offering the cashback in form of talk time.
Vodafone is not the only telecom company offering such plans. Bharti Airtel too has a plan of Rs 244 which provides customers the same benefits such as 1 GB data per day and unlimited Airtel-to-Airtel voice calls. Idea Cellular on the other hand offers a similar offer but on a recharge of Rs 297.
However, both Airtel and Idea are offering these offers to both existing as well as new users.
