Made in India: Kawasaki's Versys-X 300 is ready to hit the road - take a look
It will be the fifth model to be made in India from an assembly plant based in Chakan, Pune.

Auto giant Kawasaki launched Versys X-300 at Rs 4.6 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai, Delhi) in India making it the third most affordable product from the Japanese stable in the country.

The newly launched model belongs to the family of adventure touring motorcycles of Kawasaki. The Versys-X 300, built on any-road any-time performance model, is powered by a 296cc, twin-cylinder engine, and peaks power at 40ps.

The Versys-X 300 promises a high level of riding excitement and rider confidence thanks to its comfortable highway cruising. Other features include single 290 mm petal disc and single balanced actuation dual piston.

The booking for Versys-X 300 is open from all of the 22 showrooms with deliveries starting immediately, however, though it is made in India the Versys X-300 does not come cheap compared to rivals.

The X-300 will compete against Royal Enfield Himalayan, Bajaj Dominar, BMW 310 GS and Yamaha Fazer 25 owing to its versatility stemming from long travel suspension, wide reach bars and a low seat aid the manoeuvrability of the twin-cylinder machine.

Digital instrument cluster shows gear indicator, dual trip meters, fuel range, current fuel efficiency and average fuel consumption. Kawasaki claims a full tank range of 386 km on eco mode.
