Google has just hit a jackpot, of sorts. Its patent portfolio got a major boost, after it managed to secure for itself, 217 patents from IBM, reports SEO by the Sea. The current lot of patents from IBM form a mixed bag - several concepts, ranging from -presentation software, blade servers, data caching, server load balancing, network performance, video conferencing, email administration, and instant messaging applications.
