The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class X results on Thursday. This is the first set of results since the optional board rule came into effect. From this year onwards, grades will replace marks.

While schools can get the entire results by giving their school code and email-id by registering in www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in, Students can call 24300699 (for Delhi subscribers) or 011 24300699 (other parts of the country) to get their results. Results can also be accessed through SMS service, the statement said.
The pass percentage is 98.76 per cent this year and the girls again fared better than the boys. The pass percentage of girls is 98.94 per cent and of boys is 98.64 per cent.
Chennai has the highest pass percentage of 98.80 per cent. Around 12 lakh candidates sat for the exam - a six per cent increase in total no of students.
