As Iran protests enter sixth day, Trump warns Tehran of US response to violent crackdown

US President Donald Trump on Friday issued a warning to Iran’s leadership as protests in the country continued for a sixth consecutive day.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump cautioned the Iranian regime against using force on demonstrators, saying the United States was prepared to respond if peaceful protesters were harmed.

“If Iran shots and violently kills peaceful protesters, which is their custom, the United States of America will come to their rescue,” Trump wrote. “We are locked and loaded and ready to go. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

The statement comes amid escalating tensions in Iran, where protests have spread across multiple cities, prompting heightened security measures by authorities.
