A reporter’s question to US President Donald Trump about the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro triggered a viral moment, drawing attention to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s reaction on camera.
The exchange occurred when the reporter asked Trump, "What was Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro doing when US forces entered what I assume was his home?" Trump responded, "He was trying to get into a safe place...he wasn't able to make it to the door."
Video footage of Rubio’s response during the interaction quickly spread across social media platforms, with users closely analyzing his expressions as Trump addressed the hypothetical scenario surrounding Maduro’s capture.

The moment escalated further when the reporter pressed, "Would US troops have KILLED Maduro if he resisted?" Trump replied, “It could have happened, he was trying to get into a safe place.”
Maduro has been indicted along with his wife, his son and three others. The Venezuelan President is indicted on four counts: narco-terrorism conspiracy, cocaine importation conspiracy, possession of machine guns and destructive devices and conspiracy to possess machine guns and destructive devices.
Meanwhile, India did not exactly react to Maduro's capture, but issued an advisory for its citizens in view of the tense situations in Venezuela. “In view of recent developments in Venezuela, Indian nationals are strongly advised to avoid all non-essential travel to Venezuela,” the external affairs ministry said.
