US President Donald Trump arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Sunday after a 23-hour flight from Washington, DC, marking the start of his three-nation Asian tour. Upon stepping off Air Force One, the 79-year-old leader broke into an impromptu dance to the beat of traditional drums, drawing laughter and applause from those present.
Welcomed by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Trump joined a group of performers in a traditional dance, briefly waving his arm in rhythm before beginning his official schedule. The light-hearted moment, captured on video, quickly went viral on social media.
A clip shared by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on X, with the caption, “MUST WATCH: President Trump has ARRIVED in Malaysia!” Another video posted by Rapid Response 47 shows Trump dancing alongside colorfully dressed performers representing Malaysia’s major ethnic communities, Malays, Chinese, Indians, and Borneo’s Indigenous peoples.
