Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday that Moscow had still not seen any evidence that Iran was developing nuclear weapons.

'There is information from the IAEA and American intelligence that Iran did not manufacture nuclear weapons and did not have any plans to," he said while addressing a press conference.

Lavrov also warned that the war launched by the US and Israel against Iran could prompt not only Iran but also its Arab neighbors to try acquiring  nuclear weapons.

"Aftermath of this conflict can be felt across the region. Everything must be done to ensure that all these actions are stopped," he said.

According to Lavrov, the United Nations resolutions are ignored and neglected. "All the resolutions on the establishment of the Palestinian state are forgotten," he said.
