Explosions were reported in Tehran as the Israeli Air Force launched fresh strikes on the Iranian capital, amid what officials describe as an intensified US-Israeli military campaign against Iran.

The escalation comes as Iran’s paramilitary Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it had targeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office and the headquarters of the Israeli air force commander.
“The office of the criminal prime minister of the Zionist regime and the headquarters of the regime’s air force commander were targeted," the Guards said in a statement carried by Iran’s Fars News Agency.
According to Iran International, the IRGC said Kheibar missiles were used in the strike shortly after launches were detected from Iranian territory. However, there was no independent confirmation that any of the missiles reached their intended targets inside Israel.
Israeli media rejected the claims that Netanyahu’s office had been hit, describing them as “false propaganda.” Israeli defence forces also said that the air force and navy had intercepted dozens of drones launched from Iran since the conflict began.
Meanwhile, former US president Donald Trump said American military operations against Iran were “well ahead of schedule.” He claimed key leadership targets had been eliminated within a day and asserted that Tehran was now seeking a ceasefire arrangement following early battlefield setbacks.
The exchange of strikes marks a sharp intensification in hostilities, with both sides trading claims over damage inflicted and military gains.
