Indian family tragedy in US

A Telugu couple from Andhra Pradesh lost their lives in a road accident in the United States, while their two children were left critically injured. The deceased were identified as Kotikalapudi Krishna Kishore, 45, and his wife Asha, 40, originally from Palakollu in West Godavari district. The fatal crash occurred in Washington.

Their son and daughter are currently receiving medical treatment, and relatives have been informed of the incident.

Krishna Kishore had been working as a software engineer in the United States for more than a decade. The family had visited Palakollu about ten days ago and later travelled to Dubai to celebrate New Year before returning to the US.

In a separate and equally disturbing case, a 27-year-old Telugu woman was found brutally stabbed to death in Maryland, days after she was reported missing.

Police said her body was discovered inside an apartment with multiple stab wounds. Investigators have identified her friend and former partner as the main suspect.

Authorities said the suspect had initially contacted police to report her disappearance but later fled the country. US law enforcement agencies have issued arrest warrants and are coordinating with federal authorities to locate him. The Indian Embassy has stepped in to assist the victim’s family with support and coordination.
