Two Malaysian female bodyguards have become an online sensation after a video captured them leaping onto a moving sport utility vehicle (SUV) while escorting foreign delegates during the 47th ASEAN Summit.
The brief clip, which surfaced on 26 October, shows the two officers — both wearing formal suits and black jackets — sprinting after the moving SUV. Each guard swiftly opens a rear door before jumping onto the vehicle, balancing on the sides with the doors still open as it continues forward.
The impressive manoeuvre, reminiscent of an action film scene, has drawn widespread praise on social media for the women’s agility, professionalism, and composure.
Originally uploaded by TikTok user lang131499, the video has since gone viral, amassing over 366,000 views and 1,100 comments.
Many viewers commended the officers for their discipline and quick reflexes, while others admired their strength and precision under pressure.
“Fainted while watching the policewomen jump onto the car. Great Malaysian forces,” wrote user Kak_Sha.
Another user, randy___261, commented: “I keep replaying the part with the female bodyguards. Lately, I’ve only seen male bodyguards. They are on another level – must be from an elite unit. Good job, Charlie’s Angels.”
Charlie’s Angels was an American TV series that aired from 1976 to 1981, featuring three female private detectives in Los Angeles. It was later revived as films released in 2000, 2003, and 2019.
