Afghan forces killed eight Pakistani soldiers during operations along the Durand Line in Kunar province, according to Afghan media outlet Ariananews.

Three soldiers were killed by precision laser strikes in Monawara district, while another was killed in Sarkani district by gunfire, spokesperson Wahidullah Mohammadi told local media.

Two more soldiers were killed in Dangam district and another two in Nari district during coordinated Afghan operations. Mohammadi stressed that no Afghan personnel were harmed.

Attacks were also reported in Nangarhar province, where the 201 Khalid bin Walid Corps said Afghan forces captured two Pakistani posts in Mahamand Dara and Lalpur districts, killing all soldiers stationed there.

In Khost province, Afghan forces captured a key Pakistani post near the Dabgi area of Alishir district, killing four soldiers, the Ministry of National Defense reported.

Meanwhile, in Paktia province, Afghan forces targeted the Kharlachi Gate along the Durand Line on Friday, producing a large plume of smoke following the blast.

These operations, carried out under the campaign named “Reject Oppression,” underscore ongoing tensions along the Durand Line as Afghan forces continue coordinated strikes against Pakistani military positions.
