M2M Ferries has acquired a 15-year-old RoPAX vessel from Italy, which is currently undergoing maintenance in Mumbai. Once operational, the ferry will carry both passengers and vehicles, making road trips between Mumbai and Goa easier and more enjoyable than ever.

The ferry is expected to depart from Ferry Wharf in Mazgaon, Mumbai, and dock at Mormugao Port in Goa. The company is also in talks with the Goa government to allow docking in Panaji, offering even better connectivity for travelers.

Maharashtra is also expanding its Ro-Ro infrastructure, with new jetties under construction in Kashid, Revdanda, and Dighi, expected to be completed in the next 18 months.

M2M Ferries has already applied for the necessary approvals from the Director General of Shipping and other authorities. The final clearance is pending, but once approved, this ferry could redefine coastal travel in Maharashtra and Goa.
