Bihar Lok Sabha Elections 2024: According to the finalised agreement, Nitish Kumar's JD (U) is slated to contest on 16 seats, while Chirag Paswan's LJP will compete for five seats. Additionally, Upendra Kushwaha and Jitan Ram Manjhi will each fight for one seat each.
Paswan announced this after a meeting with BJP chief J P Nadda here.
While declining to share details of his talks with BJP leaders, including Home Minister Amit Shah and party president J P Nadda, he asserted that his concerns have been addressed positively by them.
J P Nadda had posted photographs on the microblogging website of his meeting with Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan.
The development comes a day ahead of the ruling National Democratic Alliance meeting.
