Xiaomi Pad 7 to launch soon: Expected specifications, price, and more

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its new midrange tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 7 in India on January 10. The device already made its debut in the Chinese market last year, and now it is all set for its introduction in the Indian market. Xiaomi Pad 7's product listing page is now live on Mi.com and Amazon India. The listing also suggests that Xiaomi may launch additional accessories for the tablet, such as a magnetic case, a folio case with a keyboard, and a stylus pen.

Xiaomi Pad 7: Expected price

In China, the starting price of the Xiaomi Pad 7 is CNY 1,999 (around Rs 23,500) for the base variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. We can expect this tablet to have a starting price of less than Rs 30,000 in India. Moreover, it is expected to be available in Black, Blue, and Green colour options.

As mentioned earlier, the Pad 7 has already been launched in China. Hence, we already know most of its hardware features. The Pad 7 sports an 11.2-inch LCD screen with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness level of 800 nits, the display also supports HDR10 and has Dolby Vision certification. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC and could have up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

As for the optics, the Pad 7 features a 13MP rear sensor and an 8MP front-facing camera. Further, it has an 8850mAh battery and supports 45W fast-wired charging. Further, Xiaomi could introduce the tablet with HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.
