Xiaomi has launched the Mix Flip 2 in China, which is the latest clamshell flagship foldable phone from the company. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and packs a 5,165mAh battery with 50W wireless charging support. The handset comes just weeks ahead of Samsung’s anticipated Galaxy Z Flip 7 debut in July, and offers an outer display that measures 4.01 inches alongside a Leica-tuned dual camera setup.
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2: Price, availability
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has a starting price of CNY 5,999 (around Rs 71,500) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB RAM and storage models are priced at CNY 6,499 (around Rs 77,000) and CNY 7,299 (around Rs 81,000), respectively.
It comes in Nebula Purple, Lattice Gold, Plum Green, and Shell White colour options. The Mix Flip 2 is now available in China through Xiaomi’s official stores, and we could see its global release later this year.

The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 features a 4.01-inch AMOLED cover display with 1.5K resolution,3,200 nits peak brightness up to 120Hz refresh rate, and Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0 protection. On the inside, the phone has a 6.86-inch AMOLED main foldable display with 1.5K resolution, 3,200nits peak brightness, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and a maximum of 1TB of storage.
In terms of optics, it has a Leica-branded dual camera setup, headlined by a 50MP Light Hunter 800 image sensor with OIS support, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The inner display features a 32MP camera. Further, the Mix Flip 2 houses a 5,165mAh battery, which is one of the largest capacities on a clamshell foldable, with 67W wired fast charging support and 50W wireless charging support.
Connectivity features include dual SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v5.4, NavIC, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C port. It has a total weight of 199 grams.
