South Korean tech giant Samsung has temporarily halted the shipments of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro wireless earbuds to retail partners, as per a report by Android Authority.
Some early users of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro earbuds reportedly found some material quality-related issues, like the ear tips of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro getting torn. Samsung was going to launch the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro earbuds on July 24. Now, Samsung has pushed the release date to August 28. For the time being, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have also been taken off Amazon.
In a statement given to Android Authority, Samsung apologised to the users of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro for the inconvenience caused and said, “To ensure all products meet our quality standards, we have temporarily suspended deliveries of Galaxy Buds 3 Pro devices to distribution channels to conduct a full quality control evaluation before shipments to consumers take place.”
Samsung also added that should any Galaxy Buds 3 Pro users face any earbuds-related issue, they should visit their nearest Samsung Service Centre or contact Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro: Features
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro wireless earbuds support Bluetooth v5.4 and feature technologies like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), 360 Audio and Adaptive Noise Control. They are equipped with 6 microphones and “enhanced” 2-way speakers. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are IP57-rated for water resistance.
Samsung claims that with the ANC on, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro can give a talk time of up to 4.5 hours (without the charging case) and a total talk time (with the charging case) of 20 hours. The South Korean tech giant also claims that with the ANC on, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro could play music for up to 6 hours, with the total music play time being 26 hours.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro earbuds start at Rs 19,999 and will launch in two colour options-- Silver and White.
