Chinese smartphone brand Vivo is set to introduce its next mid-range smartphone, the Vivo Y400, soon in India. The smartphone’s design and key specifications were previously leaked by a tipster earlier this week, and it has now been spotted online through alleged marketing images. The listing includes official images of the White variant of the Y400, revealing its design from all angles, with a few specifications of the device.
Vivo Y400: Expected design, specifications
The purported Vivo Y400 appeared briefly on Amazon India, which was first spotted by GSMArena, and reveals the official images of the Freestyle White variant of the phone. It also confirms the smartphone’s design from all angles and mentions a few specifications. It's called Freestyle White, and the listing suggests that the Vivo Y400 Pro will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen, a 5,500 mAh battery, and 90W charging support.
Further, the phone measures 164 x 75 x 8mm and weighs 182 grams. The volume and power buttons sit on the right, while the bottom edge includes a SIM tray, microphone, USB-C port, and speaker grille. The listing also revealed that the Y400 Pro will have a 32MP front-facing camera, a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary rear camera with OIS, and a 2MP secondary camera.
Previous leaks also claimed that the device would offer 4,500 nits of peak brightness and would also be equipped with a wide range of AI-driven features. It will be available in Gold and Nebula Purple colour options as well, and is likely to have a starting price of below Rs 25,000.
