Vivo has introduced Y300 5G, the company’s latest smartphone in its Y series in China. It is the successor to Vivo Y200 and is different compared to the Indian variant of the Y300 5G, which was launched last month. It also offers a different design, a unique three-way speaker system, and a bigger battery. Let us now take a look at the specifications, features, and price of the latest Vivo Y300 5G in China.
Vivo Y300 5G: Price, colour options
The Vivo Y300 5G has a starting price of CNY 1,399 (around Rs 16,300) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The 8GB + 256GB, 12GB+ 256GB RAM and 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage variants are priced at CNY 1,599 (around Rs 18,000), CNY 1,799 (around Rs 20,000), and CNY 1,999 (around Rs 23,000), respectively.
It is offered in Green Pine, Snow White, and Star Diamond Black colour options. It is now available for purchase in China. However, its global availability has not yet been announced.
Vivo Y300 5G: Specifications, features
The Vivo Y300 5G comes with a 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with up to 1800 nits peak brightness that supports up to 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS2.2 storage.
The main highlight of the phone is its new generation of rear speakers, as it has a three-speaker matrix system with a peak power of 4.5W, which according to the company is 600% louder compared to other standard phones. It also packs a 6500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation) and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there’s an 8MP selfie camera. The Vivo Y300 5G also has an IP64 rating and SGS five-star certification.
