It’s also the first time Vivo is introducing an ‘Elite’ model in its camera-focused midrange V-series.
Vivo V70, Vivo V70 Elite: Expected specifications, features
A dedicated microsite on e-commerce platform Flipkart for the Vivo V70 series is now live, confirming that the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite be unveiled in India soon. The teaser post also reveals that the Vivo V70 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the Vivo V70 Elite will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. These phones are confirmed to come with Zeiss optics, offering a versatile setup and advanced photography experience.
Further, these handsets are shown to feature a triple rear camera setup, housed inside a square-shaped camera module. Vivo has also revealed that the V70 Elite will pack a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP 3x telephoto, along with an ultrawide lens. Additionally, both phones will get LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, which is a big upgrade from the LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage on the Vivo V60 series.
The Vivo V70 and V70 Elite will boot with Origin OS 6, based on Android 16, out of the box. We can also expect these handsets to feature a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Vivo has yet to reveal the lineup’s launch date, but leaks suggest that these smartphones could launch in India in the coming weeks.
