Vivo is set to launch the Vivo V40e in India soon. It follows the Vivo 40 Pro and V40, which were launched earlier this year. The smartphone manufacturer has started teasing the V40e and has also confirmed that it will come with an ‘Ultra-Slim Design.’
According to the company website, the Vivo V40e will be available in two colour options: Royal Bronze and Mint Green. It will have 0.749 cm thickness and 183 grams weight. Additionally, the V40e will feature a 6.77-inch 3D curved display with 120Hz refresh rate. Many reports have also suggested that the phone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Vivo has confirmed that the phone will feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with 2x portrait mode, an 8MP ultra-wide camera 50MP eye AF front camera, and Aura Light sensor for Smart Color Temperature Adjustment. It will offer ultra-stable 4K Video with OIS + EIS support with an AI Photo enhancer. The front camera will also come with a 50MP selfie sensor with 4K video recording support.
The Vivo V40e will have a 5,500 mAh battery with 80W charging support. The phone might come with an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance. In terms of software, it will have Android 14 OS with Funtouch OS 14 custom skin out of the box.
The Vivo V40e will is expected to come in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage variants. We can expect it to be priced under Rs 25,000 in India after offers.
