Vivo T4R 5G expected to launch in India soon, to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC

Vivo has introduced multiple smartphones under its T series this year, and it looks like the brand isn’t stopping just yet. The Chinese smartphone brand is reportedly preparing to launch the Vivo T4R, which would be the brand's first phone in the R segment. Further, its chipset and durability details have also been revealed.

Vivo T4R 5G: Expected specifications, price

According to 91Mobiles Hindi, Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo T4R 5G in India soon. The handset will reportedly have IP68+IP69 dust and water resistance. Moreover, it is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, which is an octa-core CPU, claimed to score more than 7,14,000 points on the Antutu benchmarking test.

Further, the report adds that the Vivo T4R 5G will be placed between the Vivo T4x and Vivo T4 5G models, meaning it will cost between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000. To recall, the Vivo T4x has a starting price of Rs 13,999 in India, whereas the T4 5G is available for Rs 21,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Moreover, the Vivo T4R will be the fifth Vivo T4 smartphone in India, after the Vivo T4, T4x, T4 Ultra, and T4 Lite.

Other details of the smartphone are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks, as we get closer to its launch. Meanwhile, Vivo is gearing up to expand its X200 lineup in India next week, with the launch of the Vivo X200 FE smartphone.
