ViewSonic unveils new monitors with intelligent sensing technology, 5K resolution support and more

ViewSonic has unveiled its latest monitor lineup during the ColorPro Awards 2024 Exhibition in India, showcasing advanced solutions for workspaces, creative professionals, and gamers. This marks India’s first-ever local exhibition of the global awards, highlighting innovative monitors tailored for diverse needs.

The VG2748A-2K AI Monitor integrates intelligent sensing technology for enhanced comfort, privacy, and sustainability. Features include an Ambient Light Sensor for optimized brightness, a Posture Check for ergonomic support, and a Privacy Alert to prevent visual hacking. The monitor also supports eco-friendly initiatives with Power-Saving Mode and sustainable packaging.

ViewSonic introduced monitors designed for professional creatives:

VP2776T-4K and VP3276T-4K Thunderbolt™ 4 Monitors: Offering 40 Gbps speeds, daisy-chain support, and 98% DCI-P3 colour accuracy.

VP2788-5K: A 5K resolution display with 99% DCI-P3 and Thunderbolt™ 4 connectivity, tailored for Mac users.

VP3285-4K-OLED: Equipped with OLED technology, delivering true blacks, 98% DCI-P3 coverage, and intelligent sensor features.

The gaming lineup includes:

XG325D-4K-OLED: A 32-inch monitor supporting 4K at 240Hz or FHD at 480Hz with a 0.03ms response time and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

XG2737: A 27-inch FHD IPS display with a 520Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time for fast-paced competitive gaming.

ViewSonic’s monitors, equipped with advanced technologies like Thunderbolt 4 and OLED, will launch in India in the first half of 2025, catering to creative professionals, businesses, and gamers.

ColorPro Awards highlights

The event featured over 2,500 submissions from Indian participants across categories such as Photography and Digital Art. Notably, “Riders of the Volcano” secured third place in the Photography category.
