Donald Trump scripted a big victory in the US presidential elections as he triumphed over Kamala Harris. Trump has had a ‘tricky’ equation with a lot of big tech companies, including Google and Facebook. However, that hasn’t deterred big tech CEOs from extending congratulatory messages to Trump.
Apple CEO Tim Cook posted a message on social media platform X and said “Congratulations President Trump on your victory! We look forward to engaging with you and your administration to help make sure the United States continues to lead with and be fueled by ingenuity, innovation, and creativity.”
Trump, during his campaign, said that Google has been “very bad” to him. Google CEO Sundar Pichai also extended his message to Trump on his “decisive” victory. “Congratulations to President @realDonaldTrump on his decisive victory. We are in a golden age of American innovation and are committed to working with his administration to help bring the benefits to everyone,” said Pichai on X.
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos called Trump’s win an “extraordinary” comeback. “Big congratulations to our 45th and now 47th President on an extraordinary political comeback and decisive victory. No nation has bigger opportunities. Wishing @realDonaldTrump all success in leading and uniting the America we all love,” said Bezos.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg took to Threads and congratulated Trump. “Congratulations to President Trump on a decisive victory. We have great opportunities ahead of us as a country. Looking forward to working with you and your administration,” noted Zuckerberg.
Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, congratulated Trump before adding that it is important for the US to develop AI democratically. “Congrats to President Trump. I wish for his huge success in the job,” said Altman on X, before adding in another post that "it is critically important that the US maintains its lead in developing AI with democratic values.”
