Terminator 2D: No Fate, the next game in the Terminator sci-fi universe, has got delayed once again. The 2D side-scrolling game was supposed to launch on October 31, but the release date has now been pushed to November 26, 2025. Publisher Reef Entertainment has said that the “ongoing global trade and tariff changes” have delayed the shipment of the components for the game’s Day One and Collector’s Editions, and since they want to launch all the game editions together, the release date has been pushed further.
In a website post, publisher Reef Entertainment said:
“Hi everyone,
We wanted to share an important update on the release of Terminator 2D: NO FATE. The game will now launch on November 26, 2025.
This adjustment is due to ongoing global trade and tariff changes that delayed shipment of the components for our Day One and Collector’s Editions. Because we are committed to launching all editions together, this new date applies to both physical and digital releases worldwide.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding, and we’re sorry for this further delay. The team is working hard to make sure your wait is worth it, and we can’t wait to share
Terminator 2D: NO FATE with you all this November.
Sincerely,
Reef Entertainment”
Announced in late February, the new side-scrolling action game in The Terminator universe by Bitmap Bureau and Reef Entertainment had initially been given a launch date of September 5, 2025. Based on the sci-fi landmark film Terminator 2: Judgment Day by director James Cameron, Terminator 2D: No Fate features three iconic playable characters from the sci-fi franchise: Sarah Connor, the T-800 and John Connor.
