Samsung unveils new innovation vision as it marks 30 years in India

India-led innovation  Samsung said its India operations are centred on a people-first innovation model supported by manufacturing units in Noida and Chennai, three R&D centres, and a design centre in Delhi NCR. The company said these facilities are driving advancements in AI, accessibility, streaming, and digital displays, while also contributing to global research in language intelligence and next-generation networks. Samsung Design Delhi has been focusing on India-specific experiences, including Kids TV and colour-material-finish work for the Galaxy M and F series. The company has filed over 14,000 patents from India so far, reflecting its strengthening global innovation footprint.

Investing in future talent  Samsung said its vision extends to expanding collaboration with universities, startups, and innovation programmes. Initiatives such as Samsung Solve for Tomorrow, Samsung Innovation Campus, and Samsung DOST are aimed at building skills in AI, IoT, and digital technologies while supporting entrepreneurship and job readiness. The company said its CSR efforts across education, sustainability, and digital inclusion have benefitted nearly 1.5 million people in India.
