Just days ahead of Samsung’s next Unpacked event, a major leak has revealed full specifications and pricing for the upcoming Galaxy Watch 8 series, which includes the Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and the new rugged Watch Ultra (2025). According to Dealabs, all three models will debut on July 23, with notable hardware upgrades and, as expected, higher prices—at least in Europe.
What’s new across the lineup
All three models will be powered by the new Exynos W1000 chipset, promising improved performance and efficiency. Storage gets a major boost:
Watch 8 retains 32GB
Classic and Ultra models double that to 64GB
Samsung is also differentiating the lineup through design and build:
Galaxy Watch 8 (40mm and 44mm): Silicone bands
Watch 8 Classic: “Premium Hybrid Strap” (a mix of leather and rubber)
Watch Ultra (2025): “Extreme Sport Bracelet,” same as last year but in a new color
A key omission: Watch 8 Classic does not have LTE on all variants, unlike the Ultra, which offers LTE as standard.
Leaked European Pricing (France)
Galaxy Watch 8
40mm: €379.99 (Bluetooth), €429.99 (Bluetooth + 4G)
44mm: €409.99 (Bluetooth), €459.99 (Bluetooth + 4G)
Galaxy Watch 8 Classic: €529.99 (Bluetooth), €579.99 (Bluetooth + 4G)
Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025): €699.99 (one model with LTE)
The base Galaxy Watch 8 sees a price jump of nearly 20%, as does the Classic, while the Watch Ultra (2025) maintains last year’s pricing.
Reservations for the new smartwatches—and other Samsung products expected at the event—are now live globally, including in India. With Unpacked just around the corner, these leaks leave little to the imagination—but final surprises might still be in store.
