Samsung is gearing up to unveil its next-generation Galaxy S series devices at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, scheduled for January 22. At the event, the company is expected to announce the all-new Galaxy S25 series phones along with its latest flagship lineup alongside AI-driven advancements. The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event will take place on January 22 at 10 AM PT (11:30 PM IST). The event will be streamed live on Samsung’s official website, Samsung Newsroom, and official YouTube channel. Pre-reservation benefits

Samsung has already made the pre-reservation for next-generation Galaxy devices live in India with a Galaxy Pre-reserve VIP Pass for Rs 1,999. Customers who pre-book will receive benefits worth Rs 5,000 through an e-store voucher, which can be used on upcoming Galaxy smartphones. Pre-reservation also grants automatic entry into a giveaway offering prizes valued at Rs 50,000.

What to expect from the event

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 series, including the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. For the first time, the company may introduce a fourth model—the Galaxy S25 Slim, rumoured to compete with Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Air. While the Slim variant may launch later, the rest of the lineup is anticipated to debut during the event.

The Galaxy S25 series is rumoured to feature One UI 7 based on Android 15, 12GB of RAM, and dynamic AMOLED displays with higher refresh rates. The camera systems are expected to include advanced sensors and AI-driven enhancements for sharper and more detailed images. Improvements in battery performance are also anticipated.

Samsung has also teased  "Hey Gemini" as a new wake word for its AI assistant, moving away from "Hey Google." Additionally, AI features may include weather updates, daily schedules, and energy tracking via Samsung wearables. Google’s Gemini AI assistant is also expected to integrate seamlessly with Samsung’s apps.
