The new year, 2025, is kicking off with several flagship launches are lined up for January. Just a day after OnePlus announced the launch of the OnePlus 13 in January, the Galaxy S25 series launch date has also surfaced, albeit unintentionally. Renowned tipster Evan Blass shared a leaked teaser for the Galaxy Unpacked event, revealing the official launch date of the highly anticipated S25 series.
According to a teaser shared by well-known tipster Evan Blass, the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event is set to take place on January 22. The teaser, written in Italian, reads “22 gennaio 2025,” which translates to January 22, 2025. This isn’t the first time the launch date for the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series has been hinted at.
Previously, a Korea-based tipster had also speculated that the devices would debut in the third week of January. With this latest leak, fans now have a clearer idea of when to expect Samsung’s next flagship lineup.
However, Samsung is yet to officially announce the launch date.
What to expect from the Galaxy S25 series?
The Galaxy S25 series is set to build on the success of the Galaxy S24 lineup, which included the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Leading the series, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumored to feature Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite chipset, promising top-tier performance. Details about the other models, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus, remain scarce, but they are expected to retain screen sizes similar to their predecessors.
Reports suggest the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a slightly larger design compared to the S24 Ultra, while the other two models will keep last year’s dimensions. Significant camera upgrades are also anticipated for the Ultra model, including a new 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
