Samsung teased the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge last month at the Galaxy Unpacked event, highlighting its slim design. There are still a lot of details that haven’t been publicly discussed, though. Previously, a new report from 9to5Google, which quoted an unnamed Samsung representative claimed that the device will launch in April. However, a tipster now claims to have its “confirmed” details along with a specification list.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Expected specifications, launch timeline
A tipster who goes by the name PandaFlashPro shared a post on X revealing some of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge specifications. According to the spec sheet, the S25 Edge will likely feature a 200MP main camera and a 12MP selfie camera, similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. There is an additional camera on the rear panel which is expected to be an ultrawide camera.
If we talk about its display, the phone is likely to come with a 120Hz display, providing up to 2600nits peak brightness and with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The phone could also have an aluminum frame and a thinner vapour chamber to keep its weight below 160 grams. The tipster also added that the Galaxy S25 Edge may come with 12GB RAM. Lastly, it claimed that the smartphone may offer Wi-Fi 7 and an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor.
It could also retain a dual-speaker setup and 5G connectivity support. Moreover, like the other S25 models, the Edge variant could feature Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB-C 3.2. As for the device’s launch timeline, according to tech journalist Max Jambor, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 Edge in April 2025.
